Are you passionate about providing children with a safe and enriched environment where they can creatively play at the end of their school day? If so, this could be the next career step for you. This is an exciting opportunity to supervise, grow and develop a great after school provision for pupils within our small rural village school situated close to Yelverton.
We are looking for candidates with experience of working with children in an education setting and confident supervising a small team. A paediatric first aid qualification is also desirable (or a willingness to undertake one). If you can provide a nourishing environment for our pupils, with the ability to maintain a positive and caring approach and an appreciation of the differing needs and abilities of primary age children, then we would love to hear from you. If you do not hold a Level 2 qualification in playwork or childcare, it could be possible to support you in gaining this qualification.
Meavy Primary is a small rural village school situated on the edge of Dartmoor where the children are at the heart of everything we do. Our children have a thirst for learning and our school is a happy and harmonious place to learn and grow. Our Christian values of Joy, Hope, Love, Wisdom, and Respect underpin school life, and our school community values the contribution that every child makes. We seek opportunities to take the children’s learning outdoors wherever possible and our beautiful school grounds are the perfect place to start.
