Contract Term: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Salary:  Grade SC2 NJC points 3- 5 Actual Starting Salary £18,818 (FTE £24,796)

Term Time only: 39 weeks per annum

Annual Leave: Taken outside of term time and paid pro-rata throughout the year (no annual leave to be taken during term time)

This role is expected to include occasional HLTA cover (remunerated at Grade STC 5). As such, the ideal candidate will have experience in delivering whole-class teaching. Applicants are advised to refer closely to the Person Specification when completing their application.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to:

• Provide vital classroom support and contribute to an engaging learning environment.
• Offer 1:1 assistance to pupils, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve their best.
• Support teachers in delivering outstanding lessons and creating positive outcomes.
• Help maintain a happy and safe playground during break and lunch times.

We’re seeking someone who:

• Brings patience, calmness, and positivity to every situation.
• Is passionate about helping young people flourish and reach their full potential.
• Ideally has prior experience working with children and can communicate effectively with both children and adults.
